Workshop with Salomé Lamas (Portugal)

“Transactions, Borders, Hybrids”

By contemplating her body of work, artist and filmmaker Salomé Lamas compels the audience to explore the presupposed limits of nonfiction cinema. In this workshop, cross-cutting themes present in projects of different length and that test the apparent boundaries between cinema and the visual arts are discussed; problematics around the representation of memory and narrative through images are explored, as well as fundamental, formal and technical practices of the moving image.

Who is it for: students, former students of audiovisual and communication, interested and young professionals in related areas.
