At 19, Klein is already one of the most intriguing and unclassifiable contemporary producers. Her music is fluid yet uncompromising.
Based in England, this young woman of Nigerian origin demonstrated a targeted voracity in her first single, “Only”, collecting knowledge from gospel or Brandy’s “Full Moon” with the same reverence, only to put it into her music full of angles and constant false starts, always fluid. Her short compositions, bordering on song, have abstract narrative arcs and are defined by underground processing and homemade electronics, pulsing with life.
