BoCA introduces this lesser-known brother of skateboarding in an international competition directed by Portuguese fingerboard brand Lowpro. In partnership with IADE Creative University, BoCA invited design students to create objects and spaces for the National Fingerboard Championship, establishing a dialogue between an urban practice and a contemporary artistic practice.
Young adults and teenagers from around the world come to Museu Nacional dos Coches in Lisbon to challenge their fingerboard skills by facing contemporary objects and new shapes. The championship offers a reflection on urban culture, architecture, design, urban space, and museum pieces.
